These include floorplan, elevator locations, escape stair for emergency use. Typical letters include “in case of emergency, use stairs unless otherwise instructed.” These are usually required; base building fire escape signs with means of exit information. They can be in plastic or metal.

The sign can be furnished in several ways: ordinary above or besides the call button; as a surround, allowing the call button plate to show through; done encapsulated, completely covering the call button plate, allowing the buttons to show through. So that the call buttons can be serviced, fixing can be mechanically with screws or done magnetically.

Choose a sign making technique or combination of them: We use acid etching, engraving and silkscreening. Backgrounds can be done in plate or hollow fabricated. Dimensional letters or logos on them can consist of laser cut or water jet cut individual letters, hollow fabricated and stencil cut.

Material can be in metal. We use metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, brass, bronze and copper. Finishes include satin, brushed, polished, sandblasted, anodized or painted. Brass or bronze can be oxidized in dark statuary finish; hand-buffed to a light, antique finish, or somewhere in between.

Material can include solid or laminated wood, including mahogany, cherry, ebony, maple, oak or any available hardwood and laminate.

Material can be in acrylic plastic, gravoply, phenolic, either clear, painted, polished and sandblasted.

Painting is expertly color matched to your company colors, using PMS (Pantone Matching System), or by copying standard paint manufacturer’s colors, such as Benjamin Moore, Glidden and others. We use Matthew’s acrylic polyurethane paints, that furnish rich color that is both scratch and UV ultraviolet lIght resistant.
